Roofing Services and the employees are active in making our community a better place to live. We have donated our time, expertise, money and know-how to many worthwhile projects. A partial list of those projects follows:
- Earl Baum Center for the Blind - Built composition roofs, with materials donated by Allied Building Products and additional help from Elk Roofing Materials.
- Christmas in April (Rebuilding Together) - Donated a complete roof the first year the project existed in Santa Rosa, with materials donated by Allied Building Products.
- Social Advocates for Youth - Donated a complete roof with shingles donated by GAF for their safe-house for abused children.
- Piner High School baseball field and dugouts

Steve Amend, President of Roofing Services is active
in Rotary. He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, and past president
of his Rotary Club (2002-2003). We also use apprentice hands-on
Saturday classes to do some sort of community service project
as often as possible.
